Member Information Night

VMR Hervey Bay are conducting an information evening on the above date and we would like to invite you as recently joined members to attend.
The informal evening will be to introduce the services of this Base and you will have the opportunity to meet and greet some of our valued volunteer Working Members. The evening will cover information on local knowledge, including local shipping channels, lights and sandbars likely to be encountered in the area, as well as local fishing spots.
A brief talk on radio channels and dead spots will be followed by a quick guide on what to do in the event of a breakdown.
A general question and answer session will finish the evening.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided.
Soft drinks are also available for $1.00.
Numbers will be limited to 25-30 so please RSVP by Friday 13 September 2019 if you wish to attend.
